Meet Jesse and Krystal
Meet Jesse Lombardo, the driving force behind Basement Health and Fitness, serving as its dedicated director. Since the age of 15, the gym environment has been an integral part of Jesse's journey, shaping him into the best version of himself, both physically and mentally. With a background in elite-level training and guidance from top coaches nationwide, Jesse's passion for fitness became a lifelong commitment.
Owning a gym had always been Jesse's dream, and in 2018, he embarked on a new chapter in the fitness industry. Three years later, Basement Health and Fitness emerged, embodying Jesse's unwavering dedication and expertise. This space is a testament to his profound love for helping others achieve their fitness goals.
Yet, Jesse's journey isn't a solitary one. Enter Krystal, his beloved fiancé who serves as the General Manager and Head of Marketing & Design at Basement Health and Fitness. With her touch and creativity, Krystal has transformed the space into a fitness oasis, located at 12 Monro Avenue. Together, Jesse and Krystal are committed to creating an empowering and welcoming environment where individuals can thrive on their fitness journey.

Here at basement you’ll find me running ASCP, strength, boxing and cardio classes along with all my personal training on the gym floor.
My approach to fitness is a holistic one. Creating and coaching a sustainable routine where you are enjoying your lifestyle as well as working diligently in and out of the gym. This is where I have found the best and most consistent results with my clients.

I am a passionate personal & group trainer with a strong foundation in sports and fitness. Growing up immersed in sports, I developed a deep understanding of strength and conditioning, which fuels my passion to help others achieve their fitness goals. I specialise in empowering individuals, particularly women, to embrace their strength and confidence through tailored training programs.

As a trainer, I am extremely passionate about empowering my clients and building confidence in and out of the gym. I strive to help people reach their full potential, all while finding enjoyment and balance in the process. I believe the best transformations and results come from consistency and stepping outside our comfort zone. Hey there, I’m Marnie, and I’m one of the Pilates instructors here at Basement Reformer. My journey in movement began over a decade ago, and it’s evolved into a deep passion for helping everybody, of all abilities, reconnect with strength, balance and confidence through mindful movement.
I believe Pilates is more than just a workout, it’s a practice of awareness, empowerment and longevity. My classes are designed to challenge you with intention, building stability from the inside out, and to help you leave feeling grounded, strong, and uplifted. Expect a mix of flow, fire and fun, where form meets freedom and you rediscover what your body is truly capable of.
MICHELLE

Health and wellness have always been important to me, and I feel incredibly lucky to support others on their own journey here at Basement Reformer. My goal is to inspire strength, confidence, and happiness in people of all backgrounds.
My style is strong, controlled, and just a little spicy. I love getting the whole body moving, sprinkling in cardio bursts to fire up those endorphins, and offering plenty of options so everyone leaves feeling confident, challenged, and worked in the best way.

Hi! I’m Brit, one of your Pilates instructors here at Basement Reformer, with a big love for movement, music, and helping people feel amazing in their bodies. My classes are all about balance, strength and stretch, challenge and chill, sweat and smiles, with a few giggles woven through along the way.
